The first quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top dining and restaurant apps on the iOS platform in Nigeria. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Domino's Pizza Nigeria experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting with 772 downloads in late December, the app saw a peak of 868 in the first week of January but dropped to as low as 434 by the end of January. February showed some recovery, reaching 826 downloads in mid-month. Weekly downloads stabilized around the mid-600s in March, ending the quarter with 621 downloads.

Cold Stone had a consistent performance in downloads throughout the quarter. Beginning with 263 downloads in late December, the app saw a gradual increase, peaking at 411 downloads in the first week of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 273 and reaching a high of 369 during the same period. The quarter ended with 358 downloads and 343 active users.

Kilimeals showed a steady increase in downloads. The app started with 311 downloads in late December, climbed to 416 in early March, and peaked at 428 by the end of March. This consistent upward trend indicates growing popularity among users.

Dodo Pizza. Pizza Delivery also saw a steady rise in weekly downloads. Starting with 244 in late December, the app experienced a peak of 455 downloads in the third week of February. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, beginning at 819 and peaking at 1168 during the same period. The quarter concluded with 333 downloads and 1038 active users.

Pizza Jungle maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter. Beginning with 314 downloads in late December, the app's downloads remained in the 200s and low 300s range, peaking at 320 in early March and ending the quarter with 312 downloads.
